The seal with the rose was used no later than 1432. 720 white roses grow in the town hall park, which were planted on the city's anniversary in 2003. There are rose beds all over the city, and Viljandi celebrates White Rose Day in the summer. This year also we created some more Viljandi Roses, some as earrings, some as little brooches, in goldplated and in polished silver.
